Provide insights, audits, recommendations and support in making tactical decisions for technical SEO health of LeapOut and its clients.
Be the primary project owner for technical SEO and link building efforts across multiple assets and client websites and communicate to senior management and accounts team on SEO project status and updates
Drive link building and other off-site optimization efforts
Monitor keywords ranking and lead actions in order to improve website positions on SERP
Develop and update best practices documents with detailed editorial, technical, and UX guidelines for page-level and site-wide optimizations
Analyze analytics and data to determine elements that are driving fluctuations and action upon them
Work closely with development, support, and content teams to drive implementation of SEO recommendations
Provide recommendations on wireframes, UX, technical requirements, and pre and post benchmarking on client pitches
Stay abreast of Search engine guidelines, industry trends, and all search engine algorithm updates and be able to speak to each sites’ risks
Develop quantitative tests for on-site SEO improvements with estimated growth opportunities, benchmarking, and document learnings
3+ years’ in-house or agency SEO experience required
Firm understanding of Google quality guidelines
Proven track record of keywords ranking on SERPs
Has solid link building and outreach track record
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills as well as strong conceptual thinking analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of SEO methodologies and best practices, including and not limited to Schema.org markup, meta and rel tag configurations, URL behavior, and crawl efficiency improvements with the ability to communicate with onsite developers and engineers
Proven success in creating and implementing SEO plans and strategies resulting in tangible growth in organic traffic
Be able to provide recommendations for website information architecture, taxonomies, site mapping, and on-site navigation to support enhanced findability on websites and search engines
Experience working with cross-platform teams (content, web dev, accounts, graphics) to implement SEO strategies
Ability to work without supervision collaboratively across multiple teams and deliver on time and on budget
